Products

What products does Vishnu Orthopedic Equipments supply?
Three categories: mobility aids (walking frames, underarm crutches, walking canes), orthopedic braces and supports (hinged ROM knee braces, elastic compression bandages), and fracture-management equipment (walker boots). The Products page lists the current range in full.
Can you supply a product that isn't listed on the site?
Ask. The catalogue shows what we stock and describe publicly, not the limit of what we can source. Tell us what you need and we will say plainly whether we can supply it.
Why don't the product pages list detailed specifications?
Because we only publish specifications we have confirmed. Rather than fill the page with approximate numbers, we list the features that are genuinely characteristic of each product and confirm exact specifications in writing on request.
Are the product photographs of the actual items?
The walker boot, walking frame and knee brace images are stills from our own product film. A small number of catalogue images are stock photography used as placeholders while product photography is completed — if an exact appearance matters to your order, ask us to confirm before you buy.

Ordering

How do I request a quote?
Use the enquiry form on the Contact page with the product name and the quantity you need. Include sizing if a clinician has specified it, and your timeline if you have one. We reply with pricing and availability.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimum quantities depend on the product and on whether you are ordering as a clinic, a distributor, or an individual. Tell us what you need in your enquiry and we will confirm.
Do you supply to hospitals and clinics directly?
Send an enquiry describing your organisation and requirement and we will confirm the appropriate supply route for you. We would rather route you correctly at the start than have an order go through the wrong channel.
Can I order without a prescription?
Some items — canes, walking frames, compression bandages — are general mobility and support equipment. Others, particularly hinged ROM braces and walker boots, are normally fitted and set under clinical supervision. We will supply them, but the fit and the settings should be confirmed by a clinician.

Fit and use

How do I know which size to order?
Sizing should follow the prescribing clinician's assessment rather than a chart alone. If you have a clinician's recommendation, include it in your enquiry; if you are unsure, tell us what you know and we will tell you what information we need.
Can you advise which product I need?
We can explain what each product does and how the options differ — that is what the blog and product pages are for. We cannot tell you which device is clinically appropriate for a specific injury. That decision belongs to a qualified clinician.
How long should equipment be used for?
It depends entirely on the injury or condition and is set by the treating clinician. There is no universal timeframe, and we will not give one.

Quality and support

What quality checks do products go through?
Every order is visually and dimensionally inspected against its reference sample, adjustable and hinged components are cycled through their full range, and items are packed to survive transit. The Quality page describes this in more detail.
What certifications do you hold?
We list a certification only once it has been formally confirmed and verified, and none are listed at this time. We would rather show nothing than display a mark we cannot substantiate.
What if a product arrives damaged or isn't as described?
Contact us with your order details and photographs of the issue. We would rather hear about it than have it go unreported.
